I walked into the living room to see the girls taking apart the couch. My first thought was to tell them to hold the fort and put it back together-this is not how we treat furniture. Then I thought, really what is it hurting and it seems to be keeping them busy and the couch was used anyway and it has been raining for 3 days now and we are all going a bit stir crazy........... I love how the cat got into the action (he gets a blanket and a stuffed animal for bed too). They were playing "nap time".
I love it! Yes, we have to remind ourselves - pick your battles! Thanks Holly!
ReplyDeleteYeah, in my house the battle that no longer is has become clothing. As long as it is seasonally appropriate, it's FINE. Pick your battles, maintain your sanity.
ReplyDeletePlumpy is such a great sport.
ReplyDeleteCute. I just love it when the girls use their imagination! Plumpy Stew certainly likes to be in the action.

I love that my kids aren't the only ones who take the couch apart. Did yours also actually unzip the couch pillow covers, finding a hole into the original pillow, and begin pulling out the stuffing in little pieces? I hope not!
