Blueberries are here = Blueberry Cake!

Blueberries are just starting and we are catching the tail end of the raspberries.   This is my favorite recipe to use with blueberries and so easy!






Blueberry Cake by Marjorie Standish.  Cooking Downeast
3 cups flour


2 cups sugar

3 tsps baking powder

1 tsp salt

MIX dry ingrediants together

then add

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup milk

1/3 cup oil

MIX VIGOUROUSLY FOR A COUPLE MINUTES AND THEN ADD THE BLUEBERRIES (2 CUPS) THEN MIX IN SEPARATE BOWL 1/2 CUP SUGAR AND 2 TSPS NUTMEG, SPRINKLE OVER TOP EVENLY AND BAKE AT 350 FOR 50 MINUTES IN GLASS RECTANGLE PAN (13X9).
